Cooper Lighting: Specification Sales, Regional Technical Sales, District Manager, Director of Marketing, National Sales Manager, Regional Vice President, and Global VP, Sales. Total term of service= 16 years. Ted oversaw the growth of Cooper Lighting to $1B in revenues.
In 1999 Ted started his own executive recruiting company, Egret Consulting Group and built that into the largest search firm in the electrical industry; with verticals of: Lighting, Distribution, Wire/Cable, Utility products, Lighting Design firms. Ted sold ECG in 2018 and stayed on for about a year to assist in the transition.
In 2019, Ted joined Merrimack Group, a Mergers and Acquisitions firm, based in New Hampshire. Ted was approached to assist in building out MG’s lighting vertical and did that for over 3 years; resulting in multiple successful transactions. In Feb of 2023, Ted resigned from MG and started Egret Advisors.
