In the spirit of the ancient Greek Agora, it is the meeting place where those with lighting challenges can be united with individuals with specific expertise in solving those challenges. Above all it, is a place where anyone in the lighting industry, whether starting out or in retirement, can “learn, earn and return”.

The “Agora” or “meeting place” first found in the works of Homer, is an open space which served as the meeting place where citizens could meet and exchange goods, services and knowledge. It is the place where Socrates, Aristocles son of Ariston (Plato), Aristotle, and Alexander the Great learned, earned and returned. It was a place that encouraged discussion, discord, debate and agreement. It was a place where dreams and ideas were developed, tempered, and delivered.
