Lois I. Hutchinson is a seasoned content generator and consultant specializing in the lighting and sustainability markets. Lois I. Hutchinson established Inverse Square in 2001. The mission is to bring value to clients quickly and efficiently – using technical acumen along with industry experience and contacts. Her most recent work concentrates on content marketing.

In 2021, Lois was elected to the national Board of Directors for Women in Lighting + Design (WILD) and helped to launch the Los Angeles Lighting Speakers Bureau. She currently serves as Editor of Elemental Green, a B2C sustainability website.

Lois was Editor of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America’s two periodicals, LD+A and Journal of the IES for almost 7 years. Since then, her byline has appeared in Architectural Lighting, VM+SD, WestCoast Lighting Insider, and tED magazine. She earned a bachelor’s in journalism from Temple University and possesses a broad general-science knowledge base.
